(QHHT) was developed by Dolores Cannon. The technique involves a process that includes an interview with regards to your life’s journey, a review of any specific health issues and questions, the hypnosis session, and a discussion afterward. The entire process takes approximately five hours. A recording of the hypnosis session will be provided to you as the extent of people’s recollections of the session vary and listening to the recording afterward helps to reinforce important messages.
Brenda was born and raised on a farm and completed her primary and secondary school education in the Central West of New South Wales. She then completed tertiary education courses and was employed in areas related to health care, assessment, and rehabilitation. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from Sydney University and worked as a physiotherapist in various roles in Australia, England, and Ireland. Subsequently, she gained a Masters of Rehabilitation Counselling through Sydney University and worked as a rehabilitation consultant for a private rehabilitation provider and the Australian Government. Most recently she was employed in an assessment role with people with disabilities for the Australian Government, her employer for over 20 years, up until late 2020. In 2020 she completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology with Distinction through Charles Sturt University.
Brenda has also participated in a number of ten day intensive Vipassana meditation courses, as taught by Satya Narayan Goenka, in England, India, and Australia which helped her to realise the intimate connection between the mind and the body. Meditation is now a regular part of her daily early morning routine. Additionally, she completed a certified training program in the Phyllis Krystal Method with Phyllis Krystal in Germany. This method is based on the concept of ‘cutting the ties that bind’ through the use of specific symbols and techniques. Her interests, studies, and employment in the field of physical and psychological health and well-being have led to the training and practise which enabled her to become a certified level 2 practitioner in the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique.
